Will CoziGo fit my airline bassinet?

CoziGo is designed to fit most airline bassinets used by major airlines around the world.

Because bassinet designs vary between airlines and aircraft, we recommend checking our Airline Approvals page before you travel. If your airline isn't listed, it doesn't necessarily mean you can't use CoziGo, it may simply mean we haven't yet completed formal approval with that airline.

If you're unsure, we're always happy to help.

Is CoziGo approved by all airlines?

Many of the world's leading airlines have formally approved CoziGo for use with their airline bassinets.

Some airlines leave the decision to the cabin crew on the day, while others have aircraft-specific restrictions.

If your airline isn't listed on our Airline Approvals page, it doesn't automatically mean CoziGo isn't allowed. Thousands of families have successfully used CoziGo on airlines around the world where formal approval hasn't yet been sought.

As always, the final decision rests with the operating airline and the cabin crew.

Can I use CoziGo during take-off and landing?

No.

Like other comfort items, CoziGo should only be used when it's safe to do so and in accordance with your airline's instructions.

You'll be asked to remove it during take-off and landing, and you should always follow the directions of the cabin crew throughout your flight.

Will CoziGo fit the British Airways Infant seat for older babies

Yes. British Airways offer an infant seat that can be used by little ones from birth up to 24 months, who weigh no more than 12.5kg (27.5lbs). These seats are secured onto the carrycot position by cabin crew and are adjustable to two positions: reclined or upright.

CoziGo simply clips to the sides of this bouncer style chair providing a private dome over your baby. For longer legs, the long zippper can be opened to sit over those growing legs!

What if my airline changes aircraft?

Aircraft changes do happen, and sometimes that means a different style of airline bassinet.

Because CoziGo is designed to fit most modern airline bassinets, it will still be compatible in the vast majority of cases.

What if the cabin crew won't allow me to use CoziGo?

While CoziGo has been formally approved by many airlines, cabin crew always have the final say on board.

If you're asked about CoziGo, it can help to explain that:

it's made from breathable mesh;

it includes viewing windows so you can easily check on your baby;

it can be removed in seconds using the quick-release clips; and

it's not used during take-off or landing.

If you're still unable to use it, we'd love to hear about your experience. It helps us continue working with airlines to expand formal approvals and improve the experience for future families.

Can I use CoziGo in Business or First Class?

It depends on the airline and the aircraft.

Some premium cabin bassinets have a different design that isn't compatible with CoziGo. For example, certain Emirates A380 Business Class bassinets and some Qantas First and Business Class bassinets have specific restrictions.

We recommend checking our Airline Approvals page before you travel for the latest airline-specific information.

Does CoziGo fit every airline bassinet?

CoziGo fits most airline bassinets currently used by major airlines.

Because bassinet designs vary between airlines and aircraft types, we can't guarantee compatibility with every bassinet in service.

If you're unsure, get in touch before you travel. Our team is always happy to help.

Can I use CoziGo on an aircraft seat or infant capsule?

CoziGo can be used over an infant capsule or car seat when it's attached to your stroller or in an airline seat.

It has not been tested for use while a capsule or car seat is installed in a moving road vehicle, so we don't recommend using it in this way.

What age can my baby use an airline bassinet?

Every airline has its own age, weight and size limits for bassinets, but most are suitable for younger babies who aren't yet able to sit up or pull themselves upright.

We recommend checking your airline's requirements before you book and requesting a bassinet as early as possible, as availability is limited.

For more information, visit our Guide to Airline Bassinets.

What if my baby is too big for the airline bassinet?

Once your baby reaches the airline's weight or size limit, they won't be able to use the onboard bassinet.

The exact limits vary by airline, so it's always worth checking before you travel.

If your little one has outgrown the bassinet, CoziGo can still be used throughout your trip on compatible prams and strollers, helping create a familiar sleep space once you're off the plane.

How do I book an airline bassinet?

Most airlines allow you to request a bassinet after booking your flight, although some require you to contact their customer service team directly.

Because bassinets are limited, we recommend requesting one as soon as your booking is confirmed.

For airline-specific tips and booking advice, see our Guide to Airline Bassinets.

Sleep & Everyday Use

Whether you're flying overseas, heading away for the weekend or simply enjoying a walk around the neighbourhood, CoziGo helps create a familiar sleep space wherever your little one needs a nap.

When should I start using CoziGo?

You can start using CoziGo as soon as your baby is comfortably using a compatible pram, stroller or airline bassinet.

Many parents choose to introduce CoziGo at home before travelling so it becomes part of their baby's familiar sleep routine. That way, when you're away from home, your little one already associates it with sleep.

Where can I use CoziGo?

CoziGo is designed for use with compatible prams, strollers and airline bassinets.

Families use it in all kinds of situations, including:

airport lounges;

flights;

holidays;

poolside;

walks around the neighbourhood;

café lunches;

outdoor events; and

everyday errands.

Wherever nap time happens, CoziGo helps create a calmer, more familiar sleep environment.

Will CoziGo help my baby sleep longer?

Every baby is different, so we can't promise longer naps. Although we get emails all the time telling us how CoziGo has helped with their cat napping baby.

What CoziGo does is help reduce some of the things that commonly interrupt sleep while you're out and about, including bright light and visual distractions. This in turn prevents babies from waking up after the first 40 minute block and lets them resettle quickly and easily.

Combined with your usual sleep routine, many parents find it helps their little one settle more easily while travelling or on the go.

Does CoziGo replace my baby's normal sleep routine?

Not at all.

Think of CoziGo as something that supports your existing routine, not replaces it.

Your usual sleep cues, like a favourite comforter, white noise, a bedtime story or a cuddle, are still important. CoziGo simply helps create a calmer environment that supports those familiar routines, even when you're away from home.

Can I use CoziGo every day?

Absolutely.

While many families first discover CoziGo because they're travelling, it quickly becomes part of everyday life. Many wonder how they got through the day before their CoziGo.

It's perfect for pram walks, coffee catch-ups, park visits, shopping trips and anywhere your baby naps on the go.

Is CoziGo suitable for newborns?

Yes, provided it is used in accordance with the product instructions and with a compatible pram, stroller or airline bassinet.

Always supervise your baby while using CoziGo and follow safe sleep practices.

Can I use CoziGo while travelling and at home?

Yes.

Although CoziGo was originally designed with travel in mind, many families continue using it long after the holiday ends.

Whether you're exploring a new city or simply walking around your local neighbourhood, CoziGo helps create a familiar sleep space wherever the day takes you.

Why do babies struggle to sleep when travelling?

Travelling introduces lots of things that can make sleep more difficult, including unfamiliar surroundings, bright light, noise, movement and extra stimulation.

That's why naps on the go often look different to naps at home.

CoziGo helps by creating a darker, calmer environment that reduces visual distractions, making it easier for many babies to relax and settle while travelling.

Should I introduce CoziGo before our trip?

Yes Absolutley, if you can.

Using CoziGo for a few naps before you travel helps your baby become familiar with it as part of their sleep routine.

When they see the same sleep space on holiday or on the plane, it can feel more familiar and comforting.

Can CoziGo become part of our sleep routine?

Many families find it does. In fact Sleep Consultants worldwide recommend using CoziGo to their clients as an every-day tool for better baby sleep.

Babies thrive on consistency, and familiar sleep cues can make settling in new environments much easier.

Using CoziGo alongside your usual routine, whether that's a sleep sack, favourite comforter, white noise or bedtime story, helps create a familiar environment wherever you are.
